WAYFINDER

Sailors are talented wayfinders, as they use simple inventions or just natural phenomenas to plan and complete their travels. I want to create a short story in which we see a sailor uses some of them as the compass, a spyglass and the stars.

“Once everything becomes hipster, hipsters loose their meaning”

The whole idea behind hipsters is to go against the mainstream ideals imposed by fashion and modern culture. In the past years being hipster became really popular and developed a very defined aesthetic, which in our point of view, takes away the essence behind being hipster. This piece intends to show what happens when everything becomes hipster and the original ideals are left behind. Using objects and trends that have been hipster at some point. We intend to show how trends come and go, how when overused, they loose their meaning and uniqueness, and finally how it is part of a cycle.
